What Huitzo Is
Huitzo is a self-hosted AI runtime for regulated enterprises. It runs AI applications, called Intelligence Packs, inside your existing infrastructure, so sensitive data never leaves your environment. The runtime is model-agnostic: swap providers without rewriting code. Deploy it as Huitzo Cloud, self-hosted, private cloud, or hybrid.
The Problem
The industries with the most to gain from AI (insurance, healthcare, financial services, government, legal) are the least able to adopt it, because their data cannot leave their perimeter. Custom in-house builds take 12–18 months and a specialized team. The result is a standoff between data control and AI capability.
Why Now
Foundation models are commoditizing; the control plane is not. What regulated organizations need is a runtime that brings models to their data, with execution logging for audit trails, isolation scoped to teams, and license-based deployment that never phones home. The window is open for infrastructure that delivers control without sacrificing capability.
Why Me
I verify AI acceleration silicon at Microsoft, so I understand the hardware these models run on. I have shipped production infrastructure across cloud, embedded, and research contexts. My background spans the full stack from transistors to APIs, which lets me build systems that are efficient and trustworthy at every layer.
Current Stage
Huitzo is in active development, validating product-market fit with teams in regulated industries. I'm looking for early design partners who want AI working inside their own perimeter. This is independent work, not affiliated with Microsoft.

A world where any organization, regardless of regulatory constraints, can run intelligent systems it fully owns: auditable, isolated, and accountable. Not AGI hype. Practical, reliable, business-grade intelligence on your own terms.
